Trainingmum
Hello everyone My son would like the class A4 Pacific Mallard which he sees regularly at the NRM for his track layout. I have a choice between the NRM special edition as it appears in the museum or the 80th anniversary edition with gold on it ( assuming I can find one in the shops). does anyone know anything about these models and which would be the best to go for? I think he'd like the detailing on the latter. He's extremely careful and has grown out of Railroad versions. Many thanks for the advice to all. Rog RJ
I would consider the anniversary edition to be a display model only as the gold plating would very quickly wear off with running and handling.
