Chrissaf
This product requires model railway controller software that supports 'Loconet'. AFAIK - RailMaster software does not support 'Loconet'. The SE8C manual specifies compatibility with JMRI [Java Model Rail Interface], RailRoad & Company & WinLok. The SE8C product at the 'hardware level' is designed for use with Digitrax throttles and other 'Loconet' compatible hardware. Loconet support in Hornby kit is not documented in any of the Hornby manuals. The Hornby Elite has an XpressNet port on the rear, but XpressNet is a different protocol to Loconet and is not directly compatible. Hornby's R8247 DCC Accessory Decoder supports 2 Aspect Signals with Common Positive.
