Manoj Posted May 21, 2012 Share Posted May 21, 2012 I have acquired a used R2467X DCC fitted Pendolino train pack, both the decoders have failed. I can run the train using my old DC.Instead of replacing with the non-standard 7 pin decoders i wanted to use the newer 4 function. I have searched around on the various forums and this too but could not find any information on how to covert to the newer R8249 or standard 8 pin type.Please help.Thanks, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Manoj Posted May 21, 2012 Author Share Posted May 21, 2012 Sorry folks, I just realized that the dummy car does not have a decoder fitted instead it has a DCC board with 8 pin socket with a blanking plate.So not sure why I have this kind of non-standard setup in my set.
