There is no reason to use IRJs on your layout in order to match your layout configuration to the bus configuration. If it was necessary to do that, you’d be in strife every time a loco bridged the IRJs.

The only reason for IRJs is if you are wanting to configure in separate power districts. Chris covered this back on page one.

Hmm how do you work out that you'd be in strive using IRJs Fishmanoz. Really would love too know how.

I hate to break it too you, IRJs have more uses than just for the sole purpose of making power districts.
