Smudge617 Posted May 1, 2021 Share Posted May 1, 2021 HiI have a Hornby R150 (4-6-0) Loco that I would like to convert to DCC, my problem is I have never done a conversion on this type of motor so I definitely have no idea how to do this. Can anyone either give me a step by step (idiot style) instructions or know of a Youtube video or link on the forum to help me do this without blowing anything. Chrissaf Posted May 1, 2021 Share Posted May 1, 2021 Smudge, that is an X.03 or X.04 motor and one of the easiest to convert to DCC. The full step by step guide is given in the 'sticky thread' at the very top of this Hornby DCC forum as indicated below.Don't overlook the the recommended 'stall test' in the step by step guide.
