Durb
Hi I’m new to this forum and this will be my first build since I was a child which was it seems a lifetime ago.I have just got myself the 1:72 Avro Lancaster B.III and all the Matt paints for it. My question is can I use white spirit to thin this for the air brush.thanks in advance.Shaun
Shaughan
Hi there. The Humbrol section has thinners for both enamel and acrylic paints. You don’t say which Matt paints you have. White spirit would only be of use with enamels but I could not advise on its practicality for use in an airbrush. I understand the proper thinners have other benefits in their use.Best of luck on the build.
Ratch
You don't say whether you have acrylic or enamel paints. There are many threads discussing thinners in this sub-forum and giving good advice.
Durb
Thank you both for your reply. I purchased the Humbrol Matt paints numbers 24,29,30,33 and 60 as it shows on the attached pic. ld
Ratch
Humbrol's enamels and acrylics carry the same numbers.
