Hardwiring an R7274 decoder into a Hornby shunter Diesel Freight train pack

Hornby Diesel Freight train pack incorrectly labelled as "DCC Ready"

I now have a R7274 decoder but it needs to be hardwired in.

How do I go about this ???

William, see my reply to your other post. Are you absolutely sure there is no socket?

If on checking there still isn’t, keep the 7274 until you have a 6-pin DCC Ready loco and install 8-pin like I said.
