81F
I have lost the nut that holds the rear pony truck in place on what I think is a China made fowler 2-6-4T. As I cannot find a spare, I will need to get a generic nut with the same thread. Does anyone know what was used? The fixing is a long shouldered bolt with a small thread at the end which passes through the bogie then a slot below the coal bunker. Also should there be a spring?Any help would be much appreciated.
ColinB
Well it should be either m2 or m2.5, looking at mine m2. Virtually all screws on a Hornby loco that are not self tappers are m2.0 or m2.5. Bachmann seem to go for m1.6 on a lot of their steam locos.
