sysdump
I would like something authentic for this model to pull. Maybe a couple or coaches or one coach and a brake van. Any suggestions to what era/models it would suit it most? Many thanks Chris
Bob1952
I run mine with a royal train coach as the colour match, I know this is not right but it works for me, I could suggest perhaps some LMS 4 wheel coaches would look good as a more authentic look. DMU mad
I currently run mine with the R6608 club wagon and R6609 2012 Hornby wagon. I unfortunately missed out on the R6607 club wagon. :( In my opinion, anything not modern looking would be appropriate.
bocaj
Well its not a real loco, so run it with whatever you want to! You could use it for shunting wagons and coaches as I think that is what the 0-4-0s used to do. Jacob
LCDR
I agree with Jacob. It is a 'fun' model and you can pretty well run anything you like with it. To keep it in proportion I would prefer to use short wheelbased wagons but that is my choice.
sysdump
Cheers for the replies. I like the LMS 4 wheeler idea. I'll also have a looksee at different shunting wagons. Chris
Lorry DSB
Hi!!!, I have my MR and BR collector locos running fast freights, it's almost impossible to have them going slowly! I have my MR loco running with 2 Annies and 2 Clarabels and a brake van. I'll have the same approach to this when I get my 2012 loco. It'll look quite smart I think!
