Evaluation Period Expired (non-activated versions)

If your un-registered version of RailMaster has expired, you should download an update from www.powerpos.com/rail-master/railmaster.exe and save that file directly into your RailMaster program folder, which is normally C:\Program Files\RailMaster and overwrite

the existing program.

This will reset the evaluation period and also update the program itself.

You should see a small 1.21 in a box on the logo at the bottom of the screen and also version 1.21 on the About screen.

All well and good, I've just installed Railmaster but it wont connect to authorise it!!
I really do hate it when you buy something then have to rely on other people to activate things that have already been paid for!!

Yes, it tries to connect then comes up with " can not connect to gate way - 0 "

Tried loads of times, at least downloading that file has allowed me to actually try the demo version.

Use the Help Request facility Wiggy and let them know what the problem is. They are very good at responding, even in the evenings and at weekends.

Waited for a while and now it's all done and dusted, time to test!!

I'm actually testing it on a Netbook, screen is a little small but we shall see what happens.

Cheers

I ran it on a netbook for a while but it's much better on a larger screen. What you'll end up doing, like me, is hooking up a 23" touch-screen monitor to the netbook then you can see your plan and two columns of 5 locos, allowing you to control 10 locos

at the same time, and of course change points and signals just by touching the screen.

have tried to download from www.powerpos.com/railmaster/railmaster.exe only toget an error message 402 any help would be most greatfull

gwrgaz - It definitely works. I just downloaded it myself and it was fine.
You've made a mistake in the URL, though. You left out the hyphen in the first "railmaster". The URL is www.powerpos.com/rail-master/railmaster.exe.

The easiest way tomake sure you do not make a mistake in typing in a URL is to high-light the url, starting with www. to .exe the hold down the ctrl key and type c. Ths will copy the URL. then high-light the the words after http:// in the url address section

of the browser, hold down the ctrl key and type v. This will copy the url that you saved into the browser window, after http:// and should look like this

http://www.powerpos.com/rail-master/railmaster.exe

I fact you could use the link I have

posted above to take you straight to the load routine.

I hope this helps.

PS make sure that the there is no s at the end of http:// such as https:// as the s stands for secure and you will get an error message. Just delete the s
