DarkRedCape
That’s pretty fancy, looks like a simplified version of the Proses version, but far cheaper.Does it comes with a third support for the tender?
atom3624
Hi DRC.Not received yet, but I believe it's a 'what you see is ... 'Just curious so purchased one - could be very useful when adding detailing, removing / replacing coupling rods, etc.Al.
What About The Bee
Hi AlI had a look at the assembly. One thought I had was to set the articulated cradle to hold your nominal foam cradle. Full support at the length of the foam, the locomotive presented at the angle of articulation.I look forward to your reviewBee
atom3624
Hi WATB I suppose reviews will be as/when used TBH.I've seen these precisely as you mention, but it does give additional options - should be an interesting addition.Al.
atom3624
Couple of photos - arrives in kit form - requires assembly.Al.
atom3624
Assembly's fairly obvious - doubtless the original Ebay post will indicate same as well, but it would have been nice to have a simple one-page assembly instruction.Popped together very easily within 10 minutes. He actually sent narrower set, and the wider set jaws, which was very nice of him - this giving a much wider range of adjustment if/when required.Al. What About The Bee
The eBay post did state that the directions were the photos in the image. Looked straightforward in any event. The advert was specific that you only get one size jaw or the other, but not both. That's fairly nice of the seller to give you both.If it were me, I'd give those parts a good clean before they come close to my locos. No telling if there is something from process that could transfer, smudging paintwork. Probably not necessary....Bee
atom3624
Thanks for the heads up.I tend to 'go Clarkson' at times - 'what instructions?' - but all assembled in a simple, logical manner.Contact areas are covered with the adhesive pad material anyway. For the moment, I've fitted the larger jaws, which can hold the blue conduit cradle.Al.
