Oxford J27 back EMF

Hey all,

I own an Oxford J27, and am looking to DCC fit it, with a Bachmann 21 Pin decoder. I am aware this locomotive has a coreless motor, and that motors of this type should not be used with feedback, however I also understand that this decoder has back EMF, which I believe is a form of feedback. Will this cause any issues with the motor or will it be OK please?

You can turn BEMF off or adjust the cut-in/cut-out point in CVs.

Thanks for this, however I'm not too comfortable adjusting CVs, will it be an issue if I leave it?
