Flying Scotsman Sound Profile (HM7000)

I took a ganders at the function/sound profile for Flying Scotsman as was wondering if the USA-Style bell sound was featured - was pleasantly surprised that it is (along with some other USA/Oz sounds)

However I then noticed an unexpected gem in the same profile - one of the sounds in the profile is "Scotland The Brave" - not sure if this is bagpipes, maybe to pipe the loco into/out of a station , but an interesting option to include.

I just did some research and found this - the girls danced to a pipe-major's tune :)

From Railroading magazine #31 - Dec 1969

We hurried down-stairs and back up to the Scotsman's track, where we heard that the train would not leave for a few minutes - a view that was reinforced when a kilted bagpiper, followed by several pretty girls in plaid miniskirts, came marching down along the train to the cadence of his own music.

This was Robert Crabb, a retired Scots Guards pipe-major who had piped at the Potsdam Conference, led the massed pipe bands at the funeral of King George VI, and now was playing alone whenever the Scotsman halted.

I made a quick video showing off the Scotsman special sounds if anyone wants to hear them. I do love "Scotland the Brave", heaps of fun.

Thanks for posting that I would have done similar but being an Android user I am a bit limited currently.
