060 tank engine and similar

I applaud you taking the lead with tt120 ,but think you have missed a trick with the choice of locomotives, although the trucks,vans and tankers are excellent, locomotives such as 060 tanks prairies etc would have pulled these,but are not available,only express main line passenger locomotives.

I’ve built a tt120 layout but am a little frustrated waiting for new items to arrive.

I don't think Hornby themselves regularly read this forum?

In a reply to one of the letters in the latest TT:120 club magazine there was a hint regarding an 0-6-0 loco under development. Don't hold your breath though!

I'm in a similar situation, I have the lovely Easterner set but have put my TT project on hold and not begun a layout until something comes out to shunt stock with. A green 08 would do, or I wait for a small steam loco.

Not a problem for me, I have plenty of projects in other scales to get on with for now and at least I bought the set at club discount price to see what the quality was like.
