HSTs - swapping bodyshells

Are the bodyshells on the latest HSTs interchageable with the earlier models? From a quick look they appear to have the screws in the same locations and the tooling appears to be modified in some places but not completely new.

If so, are the lighting connectors also the same as the models from the past few years? I am aware that the earlier ones from the first version of the tooling have a different lighting arrangement with direct contacts, so I guess the lighting modules would need swapping there (if the modules are interchangeable).

No idea. You are a pioneer, Try it and report back. If the screws are in the same places, it is likely that the shells can be made to fit.
