Mark-353500 Posted October 23, 2023 Share Posted October 23, 2023 Hi can some one please put me in the right direction for installing cab lights I have two wires one positive and ones negative so I am thinking live to aux 1 when I find out what pin it is an negative to either ground PIN number I am not sure of or common pin 16 blue wire. if someone can point me in the right direction it will be a great help Thanksmark Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ColinB Posted October 23, 2023 Share Posted October 23, 2023 It is the opposite to way you would normally think. The blue common wire is actually the positive connection, the negative is supplied by the decoder switching Aux1 to Ground. So positive goes to the pin 16, negative goes to Aux 1. Don't forget the resistor, it can go either side of the LED, so between the positive terminal of the LED and pin 16 or the negative side of the LED and Aux1.
