How do I delete old HM7000 I no longer have?

Sorry if this has been asked before but the search engine is poor. I recently sent a HM7000 chip back to Hornby for assessment, it turned out to be faulty and they sent me a new one. The problem I have now is that I can't delete the old chip from my device list. I've got rid of it from the engine shed, but I get an error message when trying to unlink and delete from the devices pages. Ideas please.

I may be wrong, but I recall something like this being raised before. The solution was to go through the unlink / delete process consecutively three times in a row and you are then offered a force delete option.
