Ratch
History:An aircraft considered by many to be the most infamous in the history of warfare, the Junkers Ju87 Stuka was designed not only to inflict devastating strategic damage on opposing military forces, but to do so by spreading fear and confusion amongst their ranks, thus further reducing their effectiveness as a fighting force. A Stuka dive-bombing attack employed the use of a siren intentionally bolted to one of the aircraft’s undercarriage legs, which emitted a terrifying wailing cry, which would continue until the aircraft pulled out of its dive, only to be replaced by the sound of exploding bombs. Signifying impending devastation, the Stuka was the aviation manifestation of Blitzkrieg.In-box Review:Description of the kit: This is the 1977 vintage super kit in 1/24 scale.Dimensions are:Length – 368mmWingspan - 437Parts count is 171 pieces.Skill Level is 4 and 4 Flying Hours are printed on the box.Everything was sealed in plastic bags, but many parts had become detached from the runners. Geir øivind-377380
hi!i just wait for this kit to come to Norway, and i have checked little around the history of the aircraft and the units they represent and i have question about the desert version:is`t that actually a ju87r not a ju87b2 as shown, the ju87r is a long range version fitted for droptanks, that same unit did airsupport during operation Weserubung ( german attack on Norway) few of them was shot down by RAF and FAA.Happy for a answer!MVHGeir Angell
