[Silver Fox 17]

Here is the BK from Javmar and first impressions are very nice. The body scale seems to match the Hornby bodies in height and width ways. 

I will be looking at its assembly later but for now a really nice and different addition.

The bogies are in two halves to save the issue of bending to insert the wheelsets which is a good idea with 3D prints.

Before I received it I was going to paint it in blood and custard but there could be too much door detail where masking tape would be allowing "bleed" so a plain colour it will have to be. Maroon I would like but then it needs transfers so I may end up doing SR green. Certainly looking forward to having it in a rake on the layout.

At the moment I am guessing these are very slightly undersize and will be giving some feedback to Javmar.

The bogies were a little tricky to assemble but that is mainly down to my age and dexterity now.

Here is my BG in a Southern express train.

Having got to the finished stage (apart from glazing) there have been a couple of issues which will hopefully be sorted.

It certainly adds a little variety.

Have you written to express your interest, the more that do, the more chance of them being available.

Aerosol cans for all the parts. Once the body is done mask off for the roof then brush paint the ends.
