Rallymatt
Now my 21t mineral wagons have landed and the weathering done it’s been time to embark on another little project, making the loads. These are a little bit different by having a magnet installed in the load base to enable easy removal without having to take wagon off track or in fact even touch it. Using some foam board and real coal it’s easy to make and same principle will work on the HAAs that people will be receiving over the next few days. The load is removed using the same tool I made for uncoupling the TT:120 standard supplied couplings and activating the magic coach lights. https://youtu.be/KrBpm75hESg?si=ryODx3c2aEsnbIWX Edited June 22 by Rallymatt 1
Tim Allen
I'm just experimenting with this myself on my era 3 coal wagons. I used some stiff packing foam (black) cut to size before putting the coal on top. The glue is drying so hopefully fingers crossed it works out. I used your clingfilm suggestion in the wagon to make it removable 🙂 I'll post pics once its done and dried. Edited June 22 by Tim Allen
Rallymatt
I’m sure that will work well too Tim, use what you have 😁 Ate you putting a magnet in too? Edited June 22 by Rallymatt
