Too Tall Posted August 1 Share Posted August 1 Can anyone tell me if it is Ok to mix tantalum capacitors with electrolyte, or more specifically, could I solder the 1000 electrolyte cap on the underside of this Zimo board populated with 2 tants on top ? And secondly, can anyone tell me what the rating is for the tantalum fitted to this package ? The packaging says it will give an N gauge loco 1-2 secs runtime, I am doubtful. the unit is a TCS KA-N1.
