GOL
During the research and development of the Porsche 917, we visited, photographed and Lidar scanned several Porsche 917s to get a good idea of the frame, interior, engine, pipes, tubes and cables including the one at the National motor museum at Beaulieu owned by Mark Finburgh. This chassis isn't the exact one we've replicated and all vehicles are different in a few ways, but it gives us a good idea of how the vehicle looked in period, as this is probably the most original 917 still in existence. I even had a bit of time to have a look at some of the vehicles being maintained in the workshop on like the Sunbeam 250BHP, with a very sensible 18.3L V12.
