Hi The Elite is not a walkabout I has never been sold or described as this. It can have Selects added to it then they become the so called Walkabout(s). These are connected to the Elite by special data cables and the Select's power connection and track connections are not used, all connections (Power and track) are via the Elite and only the data cable connects the two or more walkabouts to the Elite. Though why a Select when used with the Elite is ever called a 'Walkabout' I haven't a clue? As its hardly a handheld unit!
Flashbang
Oh dear a 'T' and full stop is missing in the first line! The first line above should read... The Elite is not a walkabout. It has never been sold or described as this.
dude2112
I thought I would ask the question as I have too reach the points and so on at the back of my layout but my programming track is at the front of my layout. So as I thought it will sit where my analogue controller was.... Thanks
Fishmanoz
One solution is to run RM with handhelds which are far more portable than walkabouts. But you need a computer with your layout to do that.
