Fitting tips for the new New class 31 R3144

Hi All

 

I was well pleased to see the new Hornby class 31 come in stock this week at a model shop so I got one along with a Lenz chip and it should be here tomorrow

 

Back in my youth (1966) I had the old Triang D5572 and used to see loads of

 

them at Stratford during after school trainspotting trips so loads of memories for me with this loco

 

Has anyone got any tips or info about fitting the chip?

 

I am expecting the loco to come with very little info if any on the chip fitting ( I

 

have yet to buy a DCC ready loco that does)

 

Any help or info would be great
