LMSTim
Password for what? The program doesn't require a password to install or run. Are you referring to the Windows password when right-clicking the setup program and choosing "Run as administrator"? If so, this is not necessary if you are using Windows XP. If you are using Windows Vista, 7 or 8 then it is likely that you will already be an Administrator and will therefore not need a password, so just click okay. If you are installing, you would be best to download the latest setup program first from www.powerpos.com/track-master/rm_setup107.exe and run that. LMSTim
I'm not 100% sure what you mean. If you are running XP then all you do is double-click the setup file. There is no question of a password being asked for at all. You just download the new setup file. You don't need the CD you have at all, just the Activation Key in the package. nightjar
Ok please know this,i am not a comp techie, From beginning,i put the disc in comp,it auto loads, i go to the start page click on my comp,in there i locate C drive, click, locate track-master file, click, locate setup.exe file, double right click, this opens box RUN AS,the box as options, it asks, which user acount do you want to use to run this program, (1)current user,(2)the following user in box ADMINISTRATOR below this just like when you login to the forums a box requesting password, if click ok it tells me a password is needed, after trying several it says unable to logon, logon failure, unknown user,or bad password, I have windows XP fat32 it goes into my D drive but i drag and drop track-master into C drive,(talking to mick told me to try that)? now you may not agree with that, but its what my comp is saying to me, hav'nt got to were i put activation code in yet. LMSTim
You are not reading what I am typing. You do not have to be a computer techie. You are going around in circles. It couldn't be any easier. You are making it far too complicated. Just download the setup file which I explained before. Double-click on the setup file you downloaded. Go to Activation in the Tools menu. Out in your name and address and activation key. Use the software. There is no right-clicking needed anywhere. There is no entering of passwords needed anyway. There is no copying of files from the CD needed at all.

LMSTim
My apologies. The correct link is www.powerpos.com/track-master/tm_setup107.exe Download that to a temporary folder then double-click on it to run it (no right click) and just install using all the default settings (don't change anything). Then you can activate as explained before.
