wiggy25
I have added this as another thread so it's easier to find.I had a real problem with adding custom pictures to the locos as they have to be 186 x 39 pixels.Try getting an image that size looking any good!!I had a reply from the Railmaster guru's who explained you need to resize the image and then resize the canvas which is basically the image background.Irfan View is free software which will allow you to adjust the image size AND the canvas size in pixels or decimal/imperial units.Just google Irfan View to download and install it.So once we have our image.1. Resize the height to 39 pixels, this should automatically set the width of image as well.2. We now need to resize the canvas width to 186 pixels it will basically add a border to each side of the image, this will now allow it to be added to Railmaster. To keep all of the images together I have copied them into the locos folder within Railmaster program folder itself. When clicking on the magnifying glass just scroll to the folder and select the image you want.Yes they do end up very small because of the resizing. What you really need to get is a picture that has been taken with the correct aspect ratio(height in relation to width) so that when it's resized it still gives a good sized image.Hope that helps with the resizing.CheersIan
BrianSmith66
Irfan seems to have stopped updates for a while. In my view, image watermark generator can resize better and it's more user-friendly. And it even works way fast than Irfan, which makes me abandon Irfan.
