roystrains
Just fitted an R8247 Points & Accessory Decoder on an E-link system through a Digital Power Connecting Clip R8242 which appears to be wired in correctly. However when trying to establish the settings I keep getting the feedback " No response was received from the Accessory Decoder module" What am I doing wrong? Fishmanoz
Have you first connected it to the programming track/output and set up its group address?

roystrains
Thanks. I've now connected the R8247 to the eLink instead of the rails and whilst it now recognises the points controller I can't get it provide the pulse to move the points

Fishmanoz
ELink track output or track itself should make no difference. Electrically, they should be the same thing. The point is that you moved it to the programming output and set the group address, then reconnected to the track. If for example, you set a group address of 1, the ports will now be numbered 1,2,3,4 and you should connect them to points numbered 1-4 on your layout. Now if you click the red or green buttons on those points, they should change. If you set a group address of 15, then point number 61-64 will be the ones you should connect to. Does this still not work?
