DCC elite running 0 guage

has anyone run an 0 gauge layout with the elite controller I am setting up a shunting yard in 0 gauge with a couple of 0-6-0 locos would the elite be powerful enough I understand it supplies 4 amps with 3 amps going to track ?

mentioned, read right down the thread and you'll find a lot of info about O gauge current requirements. That is the info I was wanting you to get from the link. It appears that the current requirements for an 0-6-0 will be within Elite's capabilities but will

 

of course depend on exactly the motor in the loco and how many you want to run at once if Elite is to handle them.

I take it due to lack of response nobody is running 0 gauge with the Elite controller perhaps I better look at another make even the Hornby tech people are not helping !!

KB, is there something wrong with the answer I gave you 6 days ago? I know you thought it was about sound on your other thread but I explained the info you need is really there and that 2 0-6-0 shunting locos should be well within the Elite's capabilities.
