Jbwhitch Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Hi I have started the conversion of my layout to dcc. I have elink and are successfully running an engine with elink and lap top with iPad. However I want to now take control of the points. I have 8-9 points I can not decide on a select controller or an accessory decoder, what do you think? Graskie Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 Welcome to the forum. The Select is just a DCC controller. You already have eLink which can be used to operate points as well. You would, however, need to use accessory decoders for points operation, whatever you do, if you want DCC operation of them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
