BrisbaneM
I have a Class 91 Bo-Bo Electric as part of East Coast Flying Scotsman. I am having trouble removing the chasis to fit DCC decoder. Can anyone provide instructions on how to remove the chasis?
morairamike
At the bottom of this page you will find a list of items under CUSTOMER CARE. Click on downloads or instruction manuals. This takes you to the hidden depths where information is kept. ONLY problem is that there is an index but it's by sheet numbers NOT loco / class numbers, so you have to look through them all, but being nice I've found the CLASS 91 for you here (click on the link)https://www.hornby.com/downloads/view/index/cat/21/and then scroll down the page to CLASS 91 service sheet. Graskie
How do you manage to get red underlined and clickable on links onto this forum. moiramike? I've only been able to give a few plain black links that have to be cut and pasted.
Fishmanoz
Graskie, by rights it's your operating system that does conversion to links when the format is right, but I have noticed a number of non-link links lately. So just to experiment, here pasted is one I copied earlier:http://www.2mm.org.uk/articles/cv29%20calculator.htmIt seems fine, so here is one I'm typing in to see how it goes:www.ebay.comThis seems to be a failure, but I'll try posting anyway to see if it changes. Yes, now editing and still not a link. So it seems if you want a link, you need to copy and paste.
morairamike
As the man said cut and paste. Currently I am on IE11, but some forums have for want of a better word "blocks" on cut and paste. This forum doesn't have the IE11 built in spell checker switched on, so Hornby spelt Honrby doesn't get picked up as you type in.https://www.hornby.com/hornby-dcc/decoder-installation-guideshttps://www.hornby.com/hornby-dcc/decoder-installation-guides

Graskie
Thanks for that, moiramike, but what a palaver! The old forum generally recognised a link, underlined it and automatically accepted it as one to just click on.
