I actually use the 4 amp Hornby Elite and found I just couldn't programme my particular decoder with it, unless I switched to Register Mode, which you can't do with eLink. I have loads of sound locos and generally experience no trouble programming them, but this one was a separate extra decoder for lights. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just checked out the PowerPax and note it is a device made to go between the programming output and the programming track only to boost programming current available to 200mAmps. Fishmanoz Posted August 26, 2014 Share Posted August 26, 2014 Have had a reply from HRMS on this saying: Any NMRA compatible loco decoders should work with eLink/Elite and RailMaster so this will need investigating once more information is available and we have managed to get hold of the relevant loco decoders for testing.
