morairamike Posted September 8, 2014 Share Posted September 8, 2014 You are running DCC and yes the wheels have to be clean etc etc, but how is the power fed to your track? One place and then relying on the fishplates at the track joints OR do you have a power bus and droppers to each piece of track? If fishplates then they stretch over time and loose their good contact with the rail and give intermittent running. When your loco stalls try pressing down on the rail joint neraest to it, if it starts again then it a fishplate problem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
