Colpatben Posted October 9, 2014 Share Posted October 9, 2014 I have opened the power car on my BB and there is a jumper J1-J2 immdeiately behind the decoder plug, what does it do? As it does not feature in the instructions!If I remove it the table lights go out.If I set it to J1 (DC) the table lights are bright (on a DCC Powered track).If I set it to J2 DCC the table lights are dim (also on a DCC Powered track).Should I be able to switch the table lights through the decoder in J2 position? Fishmanoz Posted October 10, 2014 Share Posted October 10, 2014 I wouldn't think so as F0 is for running directional lighting. And the fact there is a jumper setting would seem to confirm it. Just like OO table lighting, the power pickup will be via the wheels and axles and so will always be on if DCC, but only when the train runs for DC.
