paul_harness
Wonder if anyone can point me in the direction of a secret supply of Jouef / Hornby parts?Bought the above model from Portugal due to it being as rare as rocking horse droppings, but the gears on one of the motor bogies are broken. The part no. for the wheel set is HJ2058/13 but contacting Hornby International (France) has met with a "nothing in stock" reply.Portugese supplier just says return it for a refund; don't want to do this as might not be able to get hold of another (at least an "affordable" one, anyway; there's one on ebay at £490!).Anyone know if there's a supplier specialising in hard to get parts, or Jouef spares? Thanks.Paul

poliss
Have you looked at Ebay? They seem to have spares for the TGV.
Graskie
He uses the 'b'in the top left corner of the box! B = bold! :-) Sorry, Eric, but his bold font is much bigger than yours. I know all about the bold option, thanks, but still can't get text that big and bold. Why? How?
Billy Kornish
Well tonight I finally got my parts from Hornby. The bogie frame had broken on mine. However on fitting I found it wasn't that that was the issue but the gears. I find the solution is to remove a gear in each bogies gearbox. However I've now blown the led. 2e0dtoeric
As Paul Harness started this thread, two years ago, have you either changed your name, or is Billy Kornish a new poster? If so what spares have you finally got, or are you referring to the same Jouef loco? The circuit board for an LED is usually only supporting a resistor - so it is more likely you have either wired it back to front, in which case the LED won't work, or you have blown the LED, which only cost about 10p each to replace.
