VESPA
On Saturday 20th December, 492 items of Hornby stock was stolen from High Leigh Garden Centre, concessions shop, worth an estimated £5400. If you see any items suddenly appearing new on secondhand stalls or are offered any goods at shows that look suspicious please contact PC Mike Dawber, Knutsford area policing unit, Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. I am sure that this stock will go by fleabay or at exhibitions. Vast amounts are Railroad items as I saw them when at the garden centre a few weeks ago. It could have all been sold by now of course by the thieves.

VESPA
Maybe that's all he sold If it was a concession shop. It was all that was on sale along with Airfix. It was only the trains that were stolen.
37lover
Interesting they stole Hornby Stock!Only the best was good enough guys ;o)There's a time and place for humour, probably not here and now! I believe the Police may have software that can track trends with Ebay items and presumably they know the goods stolen so fingers crossed they get a result or two. VESPA
I hope they get a result as I hate thieves. That was somebodys living gone as I am sure that replacements will not be easy to get.

I don't agree with any form of stealing.Your remarks baffle me at times 37..Only the best was good enough guys ;o) Hornby stock!!! Said on an Hornby forum..At that time we didn't know if there were other makes of train there, hence the comment!.There is more praise for Hornby and their stock than humour in my comment, I thought..It is sad the items have been stolen but, hopefully they that did it will be caught. Lets hope when they are, they are old enough to be prosecuted. The items haven't been damaged or distributed.

walkingthedog
Me neither. Concession shops generally only sell one brand. I hope the owner owner gets his stock back..

2e0dtoeric
I had been in to High Leigh a couple of times, looking for bits - disregarding the plant stuff (it IS a garden centre) - they only sold Hornby, and Humbrol which is also Hornby owned, I think.
