81F
Having obtained a 20% off voucher for a local Department Store i managed to get SWMBOs permission to visit my local Hornby Concession where I bought a Railroad P2. this is a really nice loco runs well but I couldn't help feeling the tender was too distant from the loco, something that I feel it shares with the railroad A1.I tried using the second hole and found that it was just that bit too close to negotiate one curve on my main line (and yes you guessed it the one right at the very back!) However, i have found a solution that fixes both. Swap the coupling bars from the A1 and P" over. The A1's is slightly shorter so use than the P2's so the furthest setting looks much better than the original. On the A1 use the P2's bar in a close coupled fashon, the extra length of the bar is just enought to allow the loco to travers all my PECO points. Hope this is useful
