ss002d6252
Rather than using a R8201 Track Link wire to link the power for the inner and outer rings of the analogue track circuit is it possible to the achive the same effect by joining the tracks with insulated copper cabling ?I'm fitting the track and mat to a base board so it would be easier to route some wires underneath if it's a workable alterative.ThanksCraig
Fishmanoz
Welcome to the forums Craig and yes you can. Just make sure your connections go track A to track A on each loop and track B to track B. If you don't do this, you'll get a short when you switch your crossover points to go from one loop to the other.

Graskie
Do you reckon poliss could be used as a copper cable?
Fishmanoz
Yes, but you'll first have to gauge how much current he can handle.
