PJ_model_trains
Moving on a littleDo you think the situation below is correct or not possible?Could trains end up as shown below? /media/tinymce_upload/Train-tech_Signals_4x4aspect_4trains.jpg The above is possible TRAIN-1 far right of the track as you view it, changed the signal to RED and the tender changed previous signals back down the line to be as we view it G, YY, Y, RTRAIN-2 can move up the G, YY and Y changing each signal RED as it passes but not passing the RED the first train created to protect the block it is in. As the tender passes each signal it too changes previous signals G, YY, Y, R but as we view the 4 signals above they would be YY, Y, R, R This would be repeated for TRAIN-3 & TRAIN-4 no problem. It is possible in a straight length of track of this size with the same number of blocks/signals but, not as an oval as all blocks would be occupied causing Grid Lock. See below. Each train can only move up to the Red signal. /media/tinymce_upload/Train-Tech_4_sig_4_train_grid_lock.jpg
PJ_model_trains
In the image below these 2 trains can continue along the track happily with no problems. /media/tinymce_upload/Train-Tech_4_sig_2_train_R-Y-R-Y1.jpg But can they? What do you think?
