Topic for Hustler: Getting Started with eLink.

Recommended Posts

Robert, people have already told you how to find the manual in your RM folder on your computer, or on the desktop where three different Guides should now be installed.

You might also go to the topic at the top of this RM forum on Setting Up and Getting Started and go through that.  Then ask more questions here if you are still having problems.

It should be easier for everyone to find now you have your own topic and are not hijacking XYZ's thread on powering his points.

OK Robert, first thing to do is to help you find the RailMaster manual. You do need to read this first, else the answers you get to your questions will probably be meaningless to you. As is usual these days, purchased software rarely comes with full printed manual documentation. Software printed manuals can become out of date so quickly as the software vendor issues updates. Be assurred, that you don't need to know how to write computer programs to use RailMaster.

When you installed RailMaster on your PC, the installation program installed electronic versions of the manuals in the RailMaster program folder. You should find shortcuts for these manuals on your PC Desktop. If you click on these shortcuts, the manuals should open into an on-screen readible display. If you get an 'application not found error message' then you need to install 'Acrobat Reader'. This can be downloaded FREE from https://get.adobe.com/reader/?trackingid=KQGEP making sure that you first uncheck the McAfee option in the middle box.

If for some reason you do not have the manual shortcuts on your Desktop (perhaps you accidently deleted or moved them). Then the original manuals are still there, they can be found in the RailMaster program folder. The RailMaster program folder is in the C drive Program Files (x86) folder. The manual files all end in .PDF which stands for Portable Document Format and the main RailMaster User Guide manual is called guide_en.pdf  there are more than one manual located here, but at this stage just find the one I have highlighted in bold.

Once you have found and read the appropriate manuals, then people here will be better placed to answer any specific 'how to' questions you might have. Invariably they will be able to include with their answer 'this is covered in more detail on page XXX of the manual'.
