And with any luck Admin will be along sometime soon to give this thread a title like Converting the Joeuf 0-6-0 NCB Loco to DCC. The loco is DCC ready with a 6-pin socket. I managed to fiddle an R8249 into mine but you are much better sourcing a direct plug decoder as it will fit more easily than one with a harness.
