PJ_model_trains Posted April 5, 2015 Share Posted April 5, 2015 HiYou can't read cv's from the main track.As Nick says, you need a piece of track, not connected to the main track, just for reading and writing cv'sThis short piece of track needs a power connector to the track and connecting to the 'prog' outputs on your elink.It is possible to use an isolated section on the main track but the above method is the simplest.PJ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Fishmanoz Posted April 6, 2015 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Hi Eamesey, you've told us very little about your setup and whether it is up and running correctly except for reading CVs. Can I suggest you look at either the first or second thread in the forum and follow it through to make sure your basic setup is working.
