Densden
Is it possible to extend the cable from the power pack to the controler it seems Hornby does not supply one. The jack into the controler is a one off for Hornby. Any idea
Fishmanoz
Densden, you asked this question a week ago and your detailed answer from Chrissaf is a few threads down on page 1 of the forum?
Chrissaf
Densden,And just in case you can't find it from Fishman's description. It is here https://www.hornby.com/uk-en/forum/elitec-cable-extension-from-power-pack-to-controler/?p=1 the one thing I would add to my reply in the post above is that before searching for the plugs and sockets to manufacture a DC power extension lead, I searched for a pre-assembled one. I'm afraid they are 'hen's teeth' - non existent. That is at least in the Hornby plug dimension size. Not surprising really, since I could not find even a hint of an in-lne socket in the right size either. I and other's are of the opinion that it will be easier to use a mains extension lead and move your power pack nearer the Elite.
