Wayne2467
It's arrived without instructions so iam looking at the ones online. Trying to programme three locos to addressees without success. at the point where the light should flash five times to assign the address, I get about ten flashes and a message stating write cv value? If anyone can advise would be good.

Wayne2467
Can anyone tell me what kind of connector goes in the elite to hook up with a laptop? I can see that it is not a standard usb.
Chrissaf
Wayne,It is most certainly a standard USB connector, albeit quite an old style mainly still seen these days on printers and some scanners. It is a USB Type B Male connector at the Elite end and a USB Type A Male connector at the PC end. It is a USB 2.0 cable backward compatible with USB 1.1 specifications..This link is just a typical example (clicking link opens in a new page)

Telo
Does anyone know if you can set up routes using the Elite, i.e operating several points at once?
ModelerXYZ
Don't know if you can. I know you can using RM through the elite. I always used it through the elite if i used it at all... How else could I hijack trains when I wanted to?
Fishmanoz
No you can't. Only simple "at the time" operations of single points or locos or accessories, no serially planned events or programs.
