X Wing Flyboy
Maybe not a true OAP of a model kit but I would like to see a TSR 2 back on the shelves.1:48 or 1:72 would be welcome.
Caerbannog
Agree. Maybe with some whif markings and extra whif parts :-)

malcolmincanberra
Geoff - and you can build a standard TSR2 out of the Stratos box. The hobby shop I work in has at least two in stock.
malcolmincanberra
Just checked the Airfix online catalog - the TSR2 is current.
Ratch
In 2007 it was proposed to issue the 1/72 TSR.2 (07004) with the Saunders Roe S.R. 53 (1407) as an RAF Museum Gift Set.Sounds like a good idea to me.
SCBallastBar
I too would support the TSR2 being re-issued. (How about along with the Avro Arrow?)
Jonathan Mock
I too would support the TSR2 being re-issued. (How about along with the Avro Arrow?)Airfix never did an Arrow, alas. That was Hobbycraft Canada (1/72 and 1/48). As Geoff says, the TSR2 Stratos 4 boxing has only just gone OOP, and it contains all the bits and decals for the real aircraft. https://www.airfix.com/us-en/stratos-4-tsr-2ms-1-72.html?sa=X&ved=0CBoQ9QEwAmoVChMI0dj4mdD9xgIVxT4UCh0evAj1
cathasatail
Regardless of whether the 1:72 version was in production or not, I would really like them to re-issue the 1:48th TSR2-they're rare as anything! Sam
Ratch
I didn't think the 1/48 was that rare - I was given this one.http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630561.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630562.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630566.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630565.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630564.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630549.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630551.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630553.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630550.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630560.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630557.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630556.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630558.jpghttp://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1312/4776356/19930853/410630555.jpg
cathasatail
They may not have been rare, but they are now-and rather on the steep side regarding its effect on one's wallet!Sam
