david_chapman
Another fine aircraft from Vickers Armstrong, Weybridge to celebrate our British Aircraft Heritage.

Jonathan Mock
Sadly Airfix never made a Viscount Viscount so it's not a kit they can resurrect for Kitstarter as it doesn't exist.
SCBallastBar
Didn't Frog do a 1/96 Viscount and Britannia? They probably went to Novo in Russia. But it is a pity we don't have these great British airliners from Airfix in at least 1/144 scale/
Peter Hayward1707820219
Ex-Frog Viscount is now produced by Glencoe and the Britannia by Eastern Express. Roden have just released a very nice Britannia in 1/144th.
Russ1707821018
Ex-Frog Viscount is now produced by Glencoe and the Britannia by Eastern Express. Roden have just released a very nice Britannia in 1/144th.The Glencoe 1/96 Viscount is the ex-Hawk kit. It is a Viscount 700 with the oval doors whereas the Frog kit is a Viscount 800, which has rectangular doors. The Glencoe kit is very basic, as you might expect for such an old kit, but looks pretty good when completed. The Frog kit does not seem to have been available since 1964 ( https://www.scalemates.com/kits/162704-frog-362p-vickers-viscount-800 ) and is probably quite rare. There are two Viscount kits in 1/144 that I am aware of: S&M Models do the 800 (http://sandmmodels.co.uk/product/vickers-viscount-800/) and F-RSIN do the 700 and 800 series (http://www.f-rsin.com/pages/collection/V700.html). There is also a 1/72 kit from Mach2, but that might be out of production.
