pendeenpete
Thanks RAF,not boring at all,its good to know that advice is coming from someone with a depth of knowledge.I am gradually getting my head round basic dcc,I have always liked working out problems, but I do find that sometimes it's less expensive to ask someone who knows more.I have had a reply from the chap who commented on the video, apparently he sold his class 37 without ever solving the brake release problem. His only did it in one direction. He uses a Lenz 100,with a multimaus handset,so maybe there is a link after all, just waiting for the rolling road owner to reply. Not holding out much hope that Hornby will reply with a positive outcome thoughThanks Pete
96RAF
@PeteThanks for the glowing but undeserved accolade - as others on here are far more deserving as you will eventully find out.The common factor in most problems seen on TTS and/or DCC lighting issues is setting the controller and the decoders on 128 speed steps. This is a known conflict that can cause flashing lights and sound only working in one direction amongst other things.Rob
