Note in particular this following text extract taken from the linked page.."Please note that this product is not digital ready, as incorrectly listed in the 2015 Hornby Catalogue.".The extract above would appear to account for the conflicting information being given by some sellers. They would appear to be getting their information from the incorrect listing in the 2015 Hornby Catalogue. As the loco clearly is not DCC Ready or have a decoder socket, it would need to have a decoder 'hard-wired' into it, subject to internal space being available..Additional information available here. Fishmanoz Posted July 22, 2015 Share Posted July 22, 2015 Despite not being DCC ready, this will be a very simple loco to modify if you can solder, and there will be plenty of room.
