vimal_indrasoma Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 A trial, especially the staircaseI remember there was a trick to that ... it was either fixing it the 'wrong way round' to what common sense would tell you, or upside-down ... the instructions made a point about it which I couldn't figure out for quite some time. I built it back in '65, I think.

Mua Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 I am starting to build a b type Billy bus - a kit from the 1970s (bought on eBay). However, struggling with decals. Do they slide off when immersed in water like modern kits or do I cut out and glue on to model? Would appreciate some help as I have never constructed a model from this decade before. Thank you.
peebeep Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 The kit should include a sheet of graphics printed on white card. These need to be cut out, they're not decals and stuck to the bodywork of the bus. There might also be a waterslide sheet, usually printed on a bluish colour backing sheet, these can be cut out and immersed in water to release them
T2B Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Depending on the actual decade of release the waterslide decals could be on white backing paper which has probably yellowed by now and could be very fragile?
