JohanC
I selected three items from the "last chance to buy" list and tried to use my 10% club discount and the £20 membership renewal voucher. Both rejected! Having read the small print, I understand why, but it is a bit of a swiz! Here, have a discount and a voucher - but you can't use them. Come on Hornby - a bit mean spirited. John. Howbi
John, don't follow your point. If you understand why your attempts to gain further discounts were rejected why are accusing Hornby of being mean-spirited. You can have £20 off one Club model and 10% off all new products any time. Sale items are already discounted. A case of wanting cake and eating it!!!
JohanC
Point noted! I read the small print after trying to place the order. In my view £20 is £20 and should be usable everywhere on the site. The club discount is a special discount and should be similarly usable across the site in addition to any other discounts on offer. I'm not angry, just disappointed!
walkingthedog
The 10% is available on any Hornby item as long as it isn't already discounted. That is usual practice with any discount voucher with any company. Usually says can't be used with any special offers or words to that effect. In the old club the £20 voucher could be used on any item not just club specials. I think that is a shame because there might not be a club special you want. poliss
Can't see much point to having cake if you can't eat it. ;-)

ModelerXYZ
I don't have club membership because I don't want the club locos and the 10% discount only works online and I will not order online because the courier can't get the product to me, I have to go to their depot in Swindon to collect it, which is more hassle than just going to the Swindon Hornby outlet in the first place. Fishmanoz
Tea in your cake hole Graskie? And I suppose your feet smell and your nose runs too? You really have been built very poorly and should go back to the depot to get sorted out!
