R9774 Skaledale bank

As I live in USA please forgive me if this is a redundant topic.  It has probably been covered in the modeling press, or on other sites?

I am building a new layout and wanted to add the Skaledale bank.  I now have one that won't ever be used and very disappointed in Hornby for allowing this model to reach the market.

Over the years I have collected many Skaledale buildings and had incorporated several of the original releases on my previous layout.  While realizing many Skaledale buildings are under scale, I have accepted the fact, as together a realistic atmospheric layout is made.

I will not be using the bank in the layout.  It looks more suited for S-gauge, or even O-gauge layouts.

My big question, are there other Skaledale buildings out there that are of such unreasonable proportion?

Sorry Fazy, you read my posting incorrectly.  I stated that most of the Skaledale buildings are underscaled.  I stand by this statement and accept that fact, as they look good together as a range.  I now have nearly 70 of these buildings, so not making an idle statement.  I also well know the difference between HO and OO scales.  As I originally stated this building is OVERSCALED and more suited for S or O guage layouts.

To put this into perspective, I measured the R9771 Three Barrels Wine Bar and the bank.

Bank overall is 165mm x 191mm x 152mm, high over chimney  - door is 16mm x 38mm

Wine Bar is 93mm x 73mm x 114mm, high over chimney - door is 12mm x 25mm

The top of the door on the bank is nearly as high as the second storey eave on the wine bar!  Another comparison against the R8551 double engine shed.  The bank is bigger than a double engine shed in every dimension.

Maybe I need to sell my collection of mostly Hornby 250 locos and 1,000+ wagons and coaches and start an O-guage layout around this one building.  It bothers me that much!

Which bank are you refering to?  Is it R9774, which is the only one I can find a picture of at the moment.  A comparitive photo would be useful in this situation too.  A point to also  bear in mind is that public and municipal buildings tended to be built on a grand scale, and this may account for it appearing overscale when measured against the wine bar.
